Where To Play Online Poker in early 2010 ?

Winning at Online Poker : Don’t be the underdog
To maximize the probability of making big bucks at the table, let us give you some easy tips:
- Play a tight range of starting hands. Playing any two rags like Gus Hansen may sound like fun, but you’re in for a reality check if you try to emulate his style. We highly recommend starting out with premium staring hands. AK, KQ, KJ, K10 and suited connectors as well as suited connectors (for example 78 suited)
- Play most of your hands in late position, the Button should become your favorite position. This is because being last to act gives you an automatic advantage. You have luxury of seeing other players play, and can therefore make informed and profitable decisions. Don’t neglect this critical aspect of no-limit holdem.
- Use timing tells. This is a Taylor Caby tip (he runs Cardrunners.com). When an opponent insta-calls a bet, he often doesn’t have a decision to make. It’s usually a week made hand such as a top pair medium kicker. Although you can’t physically see your opponents, timing tells are prevalent and useful for online poker
- Read the 2+2 poker forums and also join an online training website. Our all time favorites are Cardrunners.com, Leggopoker.com, and Deucescracked.com. If you are a tournament poker enthusiast, then Pocketfives.com will be your most valuable resource.

Thanks in advance

Sorry for the delay,
* All the sites listed accept US players, except Party Poker
* All of the sites accept UK and European poker players

No offense to anybody on this site, but I used to hate Bulldog Poker. The graphics were horrendous and I remember the software stalling at the worst moments.
IMO the best of these is Full Tilt. My buddy plays on UB and recommends it, he likes the smooth deal of cards, but I never tried it myself.

Spot on about Bulldog. I personally like the Aced poker software the best, but it’s true the deal of cards is sweet at Ub.

LOL, I used to own a bulldog, the animal was heinous. Hope this won’t be construed as spam, but if you have a Bulldog, visit bulldog owner’s forum. to avoid all the mistakes I made starting out.

I own an American Bulldog – They may look dangerous, but they’re not a vicious breed of dog. Thanks for the forum link, and the tip.
